SPORTEL 1990

About us

We would like to pay tribute to everyone who was involved into making SPORTEL to what we are today. We can say with pride that we organise the must-attend global convention in sports media & technology alongside SPORTEL Awards and its international competition that rewards the most outstanding sports footages of the year. We offer a unique way to present sports, its champions and the values they convey.

The first SPORTEL was held on November 2, 1990 at the Loews Hotel. H.S.H. Crown Prince Albert of Monaco, member of the IOC since 1985, chaired the opening ceremony along with his Excellency Juan Antonio Samaranch, IOC President, and Dr Un Yong Kim. @ SPORTEL, 1990
